Class cards are activated on the date of purchase and are valid for 90 days

You can review the details of your visits remaining by logging in with your client name to our web scheduler on-line, or inquiring at the desk.

Gentle touch assists may be a part of your yoga class. Teachers at Metta Massage & Yoga Clinic will always ask for verbal permission before offering a student a physical assist. Should you not wish to be assisted, please inform your teacher. At Metta Massage & Yoga Clinic we encourage you to openly communicate with your yoga teacher and to advocate for your greatest comfort in class.

The number of participants is limited for each class. Based on the size of our yoga studio space and our priority for personalized attention, our maximum class size is limited to 15 students. Therapeutic Yoga classes may be limited to a maximum of 10 students per class to ensure comfort, safety and provision for individual assistance.

All yoga teachers at Metta Massage & Yoga Clinic respect client confidentiality. When you provide personal information to us, we will not communicate and/or disclose it to third parties for any purpose. Additionally, client lists and email lists are kept confidential. We offer 2 different monthly plans- one that combines massage with Therapeutic Yoga, and one that combines massage with Wellness Yoga. The day you begin your package will be the billing date for your subsequent months on the plan which are set up to be automatically charged to your credit card. You can suspend your plan for up to 2 months during the 12 months of the plan, and you can terminate the plan with 30 days notice. Metta's Combo Package and Membership prices are subject to change and do not include taxes. Special Packages such as the Prenatal Massage & Yoga Package are sold as Gift Certificate Packages and are subject to the same rules as other gift certificate sales. Applicable taxes will be applied to prices at the point of sale.

New students are required to fill out a yoga waiver form before attending classes. Students are encouraged to provide teachers with all pertinent information relating to any health conditions including any injuries or physical limitations that may impact their yoga practice in order to ensure maximum comfort and safety within the class setting.

Receipts can be issued for yoga classes, private yoga can be issued at the time of purchase.

By using Metta's website for online sales, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with the terms below. Please do not make purchases online if you do not accept the terms.

Payment for Products & Services
All Credit Cards will be processed in Canadian Dollars at the time of payment. Metta Massage & Yoga Clinic is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

Refunds
We do not offer refunds on products and services sold online however, credit can be offered based on the conditions of the service originally purchased.

Gift Certificates Purchased Online
Gift certificates purchased online may be printed by the purchaser on their home computer system or mailed to the purchaser. All gift certificates are in Canadian dollars. Gift certificates are non-refundable. Any unused portion of the gift certificate remains on the client’s account.

Registration is for the specific course dates and times listed.

In the case of absence, students are permitted a make-up class either by attending one of our other corresponding pre-registered classes (not therapeutic yoga) or an open level drop-in class.

The expiration of any make-up class is the date of the last class in the session that the student is enrolled in (no exceptions).

Pre-Registered purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

January 1, 2004, all organizations engaged in commercial activities must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, which grants rights concerning the privacy of your personal information. Metta Massage & Yoga Clinic recognizes that both yoga teachers and students are vulnerable to infections and therefore asks students to avoid attending classes when they are feeling unwell. In the event that your yoga teacher is unwell, we will do our best to have one of our other skilled teachers facilitate the class or to notify you in the case of a class cancellation in a timely fashion. Please ask our client care representative about our rain checks for missed classes.

An initial assessment is an essential part of effective admission procedures for our Therapeutic Yoga Program as it is a forum for our greater understanding of how to attend your needs appropriately, safely and with maximized comfort. Initial assessment of each new therapeutic yoga student helps our teachers to consider the student’s specific needs in an effective and informed manner and to strategize opportunities for personalized instruction.

Registration is non-refundable, non-transferable and applies to the specific course dates and times listed.

We do not offer refunds on yoga class purchases but you may receive credit on your account to be used on a Metta product or service.
