Paula Pyne

Yoga Teacher

Paula Pyne has been practicing yoga for nearly a decade. She is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and is a Canadian Yoga Alliance member. She is grateful for the influence of so many revered teachers who have inspired her evolution and growth. In her yoga practice, Paula employs numerous aspects of Hatha Yoga with a focus on meditation and asanas that connect the mind-body-spirit through the breath.

By witnessing and experiencing the healing power of yoga, Paula works with her students to explore, nourish, and cultivate space for individual expansion and growth through self-inquiry. She believes when we quiet our minds, we remember our authentic selves, the needs of our bodies, and how to maximize our potential. She brings a calm, grounded, passionate, committed, and connected spirit to her practice and is dedicated to sharing her passion for living life to its fullest. She is fascinated by the emotionally therapeutic benefits of yoga and is interested in teaching and working with women who suffer from depression and anxiety.

Paula is fueled by ideas and people, likes to connect the dots, relate to and inspire others. Through her business, Uplift! Consulting, Paula works with individuals and organizations in transition to create mindful positive change. With many years of volunteer experience, Paula is always looking for ways to be of service and give back to the community. She loves reading, taking long hikes, and spending time with her husband and furry feline friend, Max. A lifelong learner and yogi, you’ll often find her enjoying a yoga or art class.
